The women begin to experience menopause between the ages of 40 and 50 and after the last menstrual period. Some of the symptoms are depression, loss of self-esteem, hot flashes, sweating, and sudden mood swings, which together with the reduction of estrogen in the body. Vata types have symptoms such as nervousness, anxiety, panic, insomnia and mood swings, among other things, and asked them to warm to eat regular meals, the use of fennel, cumin and spices, sugar, avoid drinks, coffee and other stimulants. It is also recommended, yoga and meditation, to go to bed early and go for the exercise. Some of the suggested herbs are garlic, ginseng, hawthorn berries and licorice.

PittaDosha types suffer from hot flashes, night sweats, heavy periods, heavy bleeding and are prone to anger, irritability and hot temper. You will be asked to consume foods such as melons and cucumbers cooling to avoid hot, spicy foods and alcohol, drink plenty of water and fruit juices. You should sleep early and meditate in order to eliminate the anger and resentment in the mind. The herbs are recommended aloe vera, barberry, saffron and gold seal.

Kapha type symptoms include weight gain,Inertia, lethargy, fluid retention, depression and lack of motivation. It is recommended to eat hot foods, whole grains, legumes and vegetables, avoid meat as much as possible, along with cheese, sugar and cold drinks. Spices are proposed black pepper, ginger and turmeric. Herbs are invited motherwort bayberry, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and mustard.
